Our core principle is that your data is processed only as necessary for the conversion service, and we do not store your files on our servers. All your saved audio files and conversion history remain exclusively on your local device.

1. DATA PROCESSING - LOCAL VS. SERVER-SIDE

MP4toMP3 offers different conversion methods, affecting how your data is processed:

• AAC Conversion (Local): When you convert videos to AAC format, the entire conversion process happens directly on your device. Your video files are not sent to our servers for this conversion.
• MP3 and WAV Conversion (Server-Side Processing): For MP3 and WAV conversions, your video file is securely transmitted to our backend servers for processing. This is necessary to perform the conversion to these specific formats.

2. DATA STORAGE - NO SERVER STORAGE

Regardless of the conversion type (local or server-side), our policy is clear: We do not store your video files or converted audio files on our servers.

• Server-Side Processing: For MP3 and WAV conversions, your file is processed in memory on our server and immediately sent back to your device once converted. The file is then permanently deleted from our server. We do not retain any copies or logs of your files.
• Local Storage: All your converted audio files, original videos, and any conversion history or app preferences are stored exclusively on your local device using local SQL storage. We cannot access this locally stored information.
• No User Accounts: MP4toMP3 does not require user accounts. Your usage is not associated with any personal identification like an email or username on our servers.

3. PERMISSIONS

MP4toMP3 may request the following permissions on your device, solely for the purpose of its functionality:

• Photos/Media Library Access: To allow you to select video files for conversion.
• Internet Access: Required for MP3 and WAV conversions, as these formats are processed on our backend servers. Not required for AAC conversion.
• Storage Access: To save your converted audio files and other app-related data directly on your device via local SQL.

These permissions are used strictly for the functioning of the app and are not utilized to access your data for any other purpose than what is explicitly stated here.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We do not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services for tracking user behavior. The only remote processing involves your video content sent to our AI for MP3/WAV conversion, which is handled directly by Nielogiczny servers and is not stored. Your personal data is not shared with any other third parties.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Given that we do not store any personal information from users, we do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is designed to be a safe and private tool for users of all ages.

6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
